Nobody goes to bed hungry on our watch.
Grassroots since 2003 · Historic Westside, Las Vegas
The humanitarian arm of Masjid As-Sabur — the oldest mosque in Las Vegas. Donated meals, cooling kits, and a hand up for anyone who needs one. Muslim or not, no paperwork, no judgment.

Our story
Al-Ma'un is the 107th chapter of the Qur'an — a short, piercing surah that measures faith not by grand gestures, but by whether you feed the orphan and help your neighbor. That is our whole job description.
We were born inside Masjid As-Sabur, the oldest mosque in Las Vegas, rooted in the Historic Westside since long before the neighborhood had many friends. From that little corner on Morgan Avenue, volunteers started showing up for whoever knocked — the hungry, the homeless, seniors, veterans, returning citizens, kids. That's still exactly how it works today.
Along the way the work got noticed: nationally recognized relief after Hurricane Katrina, and a visit from Muhammad Ali himself. But the point was never the recognition. The point is the neighbor in front of you, right now.
فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ … وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ
“…who are heedless of their prayer — and withhold al-Ma'un, the small kindnesses.”
Qur'an · Surah Al-Ma'un 107
What we do
No red tape. No means test at the door. Just neighbors covering the gaps the system leaves behind — from a hot plate of food to a second chance.

Humanitarian Day, Day of Dignity & more
Haircuts, mobile showers, medical care, cooling fans for a 110° desert — over $20,000 in aid handed to real people in a single afternoon on Humanitarian Day 2025. Here's what our days on the block look like.
Give a small kindness
We under-ask and over-deliver — but groceries still cost money, and a cooling fan in July isn't free. Pick an amount and watch exactly what it does for a neighbor down the street.
